About Us

Blue Heron Natural Builders Guild is made up of independent natural builders and carpenters from across south-central Wisconsin.  After encountering each other and working together on a number of natural home building projects over the years, we recognized that our skills and interests are very complimentary and related.  Rather than competing with one another, in 2005 we decided to organize our energies and resources into a collective working model.  Among other things, the guild format allows us to more easily exchange knowledge and skills, thus creating a better product, as well as giving us a venue for promoting our individual businesses and educating the public about natural building.
